From a single photo to a finished portrait on your wall — and a memorial page your family fills while it is being made.
1. Choose a design
Pick one of seven layouts: a single portrait, a family portrait, two or three generations together, a portrait with a verse, a couple, or a light watercolor look. Every design includes a name, dates and a short line you can change.
2. Upload what you have
Old, faded, scanned, black-and-white — all welcome. Upload the photos, type the names, and you will see a preview in about a minute. You can re-arrange your photo in the frame yourself. If a photo is too small to print well, we say so before you pay.
3. Order, and your memorial page opens
About fifteen minutes after you order, you receive a link to set up the memorial page: add up to 30 photos, write their story, and send one link to family. Relatives add their own photos and memories, each under their name — so by the time the portrait arrives, the page is already full.
4. An artist finishes your portrait
A real artist restores the photo, places anyone who needs placing, and finishes the artwork by hand. Within 24 hours you receive a proof by email.
5. You approve it
Ask for changes — two rounds are included — or approve with one click. Nothing is printed until you approve. If we do not hear from you, we send a gentle reminder before the 48-hour approval window closes.
6. Printed, framed, shipped
Printing and framing take 5–7 business days after approval. Delivery inside the United States usually takes 3–8 business days, with tracking by email. The portrait arrives ready to hang, with a small card explaining the memorial page to whoever opens the box.
7. Hang it, scan it, share it
The small code in the corner of the portrait opens the memorial page. Relatives who visit your home can scan it, see the page, and add what they have.
